About Us

Why the Suzuki Method?

At the heart of our music classes is the Suzuki Method, a world-renowned approach to music education that focuses on creating a nurturing, supportive environment for young children. Developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, the method believes that every child can develop musical talent, just like they learn to speak their native language — through listening, repetition, and encouragement in a loving environment.

Key Principles of the Suzuki Method:

  • Early Learning: Just like language, music can be learned from a young age. The earlier we start, the more natural the learning process becomes.
  • Parental Involvement: Parents play a crucial role in the learning process, participating alongside their child to encourage progress and celebrate milestones.
  • Positive Reinforcement: The Suzuki Method fosters a love for learning through positive feedback, allowing children to build confidence and joy in their musical journey.

What is Suzuki Early Childhood Education?

Suzuki Early Childhood Education program takes Suzuki philosophy a step further by offering a holistic learning experience, focusing on the emotional, social, and cognitive development of your child. Through playful and interactive music activities, children develop listening skills, concentration, and an appreciation for the arts — all while forming meaningful bonds with their peers and caregivers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Suzuki Method?

The Suzuki Method is a unique approach to music education that emphasizes early learning through listening, repetition, and a nurturing environment. Created by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, it believes that every child has the potential to develop musical ability, just like learning a language. It encourages children to play instruments from a young age, with parents actively involved in the learning process.

What age can children start?

Children can start as early as 0 to 3 years old. The earlier, the better, as the Suzuki Method thrives on the natural development of musical skills in the early years.

Do I need to buy an instrument?

No, you don't need to buy an instrument. We provide all the instruments required for the class, such as glockenspiel, xylophone, shakers, and other simple percussion instruments, ensuring that your child has everything they need to participate.

Are there performance opportunities?

Yes, absolutely! During each class, children have the chance to perform solo on a musical instrument, allowing them to build confidence and develop a love for performing in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

What is the size of the group?

Our groups are small, with 5-8 babies and their parent or caregiver. This ensures that each child gets personalized attention and has the space to grow and learn at their own pace.

Why does a parent need to be in the class?

Parental involvement is key to the success of the Suzuki Method, especially for younger children. As a parent or caregiver, you help guide your child through the learning process, encouraging practice and celebrating progress. It's also essential for creating a supportive and positive environment in the early stages of development.

How often are the classes held?

Classes are held once a week, providing a consistent and enjoyable rhythm to your child's musical journey.

What language is used during the class?

The classes are conducted in English, as the English program is the only one officially approved by the Suzuki Association, ensuring you get the most authentic and recognized experience.

What is the duration of each class?

Each class lasts one hour. This is the perfect amount of time for young children to engage with music, explore instruments, and enjoy the creative process without feeling overwhelmed.

What is the atmosphere like during the class?

The atmosphere is joyful, creative, and lively. We create a calm and safe space where children can explore music in a stress-free environment. Each child develops skills at their own pace, and the focus is on nurturing their love for music in a relaxed, supportive setting.

How long is the whole course?

There is no fixed duration for the course. You can participate for as long as it serves your child's development. Every child progresses at their own pace, and we encourage you to continue as long as your baby is enjoying and benefiting from the classes.
